You have the right to request deletion of your personal data from VerifyCarrier at any time. This page explains how to request deletion and what data will be removed.

We take data privacy seriously and will process all deletion requests within 30 days as required by applicable data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).

How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data using any of the following methods:

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you request data deletion, we will permanently remove:

• Account information: Email address, phone number, name, company name
• WhatsApp data: WhatsApp phone number, conversation history, notification preferences
• Usage data: Carrier lookup history, search queries
• Communication history: Email and SMS message logs (except as required by law)
• Preferences: Notification settings, quiet hours, timezone preferences

All data will be permanently deleted from our systems and cannot be recovered.

What Data May Be Retained

Some data may be retained for legal compliance, including:

• Financial records: Payment and billing information (retained for 7 years for tax compliance)
• Legal compliance: Data required by law, court order, or regulatory requirement
• Fraud prevention: Records of fraudulent or abusive activity
• Anonymized data: Aggregated, anonymized analytics that cannot identify you

This retention is required by law and necessary for business operations. Retained data will be kept secure and only used for the purposes specified above.

We will send you a confirmation email once your data has been fully deleted.

WhatsApp-Specific Deletion

If you only want to stop WhatsApp notifications without deleting your entire account:

• Reply "STOP" or "UNSUBSCRIBE" to any WhatsApp message
• Your WhatsApp number and conversation history will be deleted within 90 days
• Your email address and carrier lookup data will remain active
• You can re-subscribe to WhatsApp notifications anytime

For full account deletion, use the email method described above.

Verification Process

To protect your privacy, we will verify your identity before processing deletion requests:

• Requests must come from the email address or WhatsApp number associated with your account
• We may send a verification code to your email or phone to confirm your identity
• For security, we may ask additional questions to verify ownership

This verification process protects against unauthorized deletion requests.
