How much does CarrierOk cost?

Enterprise is custom. VerifyCarrier's one paid plan is $49/month for 50 watched carriers with 1,000 API calls a month included.

Is the CarrierOk API included in a subscription?

No. CarrierOk's pricing page says the API is Sold separately, pay-as-you-go: free sandbox key, $50 to go live applied as $50 of credit, then per-request and per-carrier rates. VerifyCarrier includes the API on every account: 100 calls a month free, 1,000 on the $49 plan.

Does CarrierOk have a free trial?

CarrierOk lists a 14-day free trial on Pro; credit card required. VerifyCarrier's trial is 7 days after email verification with no card and no automatic charge.

What does CarrierOk offer that VerifyCarrier does not?

CarrierOk lists proprietary risk scoring with 50+ fraud signals, chameleon-carrier detection, policy-level insurance data with insurer names and lapse history, a Chrome extension, new-registrant sourcing and bulk data delivery. VerifyCarrier reports public FMCSA records, insurance filings, matched UCC history and census contact overlaps as evidence with source dates; it does not compute a fraud score.

Which one tells me whether a carrier is safe?

Neither should. CarrierOk sells scores; VerifyCarrier shows the evidence and leaves the approval decision to you. Either way, confirm coverage with the insurer and record what you checked.

How brokers vet a carrier
